Tesla will release beta version of full autonomous driving on Tuesday, according to Elon Musk

Of course, Musk's tweet doesn't go into the details of this huge milestone.

The full standalone beta of Tesla is rolling out to select customers on Tuesday night, according to a tweet posted Tuesday afternoon by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

In a tweet, Musk says the deployment will be “Extremely slow and cautious.” However, he did not say where these beta vehicles would be located, so it’s unclear if the company has appropriate clearance in these areas for carrying out this kind of self-propelled vehicle tests.
